Disappointment

Well, it looks like we won't be able to go on the Mission Honk Kong trip after all. In spite of everything, something out of our control has come up to keep us from going. I can't tell you how disappointed we are, but we ask that you continue to keep the group, and us, in your prayers. I know that God has something wonderful in store for them on this mission trip.
I will take this blog off-line after a week. Thank you for your prayers.

A prayer for the journey

This prayer seems to fit my life right now, all the praying, planning, etc for the mission trip to Hong Kong in summer 2009. I hope that you will pray this with me and for me.

Prayer

Hi everyone! I have been praying about a part time job to earn money for this trip and I have been offered one, the only thing is, the job won't start until Jan. 2009. So, I am praying about what to do until then. God is good and I know He will answer my prayers in His own time, I just have to have the patience to wait. I am so excited about this mission trip, I wish it were tomorrow! Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Hi everyone! I am working on fund raiser ideas for the mission trip. I'm thinking Bunco!!! Hope all you ladies are ready to become winners. If you have any great ideas, pass them on my way.
I am also looking for a part time job to help with the expenses, so pray that the right one comes along.
We can't wait to start planning our trip and we are praying that the Hong Kong people are receptive to our message. Jesus Saves!

Hong Kong Summer 2009

Whoo-Hoo!! David and I are planning on going on a mission trip with our church to Hong Kong in 2009. We are so excited!
The Lord is working in our lives in an amazing way. We will be playing games with the children, helping people with their english skills and working with a youth camp ministry too! We are asking for your prayers for the success of this mission trip and that the Lord Jesus Christ will soften the hearts of the people in Hong Kong in advance of our trip.
